My signature below indicates agreement with everything in this waiver. Signatures are mandatory for participation. I hereby agree to comply with the rules, conditions, and regulations of the event and instructions of the event leaders. My signature grants my permission to all of the foregoing to use photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I also understand that my entry fee is nonrefundable. I understand that for this event bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers or strollers, headphones, roller skates or blades, and animals are not allowed in the race, and I will abide by this guideline. My signature below indicates I am aware that the Mountain Running Races LLC event is difficult and hazardous for all athletes, even under the most favorable conditions. I hereby attest and certify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for this race and that my condition has been tested by running long distances. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, the conditions of the trails, and/or obstacles on the course. I agree that all such risks are known and appreciated by me. A parent must sign if entrant is under 18 years of age. This is to certify that my child has permission to compete in this event, is in good physical condition and the event officials may authorize necessary emergency medical treatment. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Mountain Running Races LLC, Scott Sowle, Road Runners of America, all sponsors and contributors, volunteers, staff, directors and their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. By signing below, I understand that any damage, for any and all injuries to me or my property, or for liability for damage caused by me or anyone else arising from my participation in this event and related activities falls under my responsibility. I will assume and pay for my medical and emergency expenses in the event of an accident, illness or other incapacity, regardless of whether I have authorized such expenses.
