2020 10K - 15K Progression Beyond Boundaries Training Program
Take your training to the next level! How about accomplishing 2 spring goal races?
The 11-week Progression Training Program is geared toward runners and walkers who are comfortable with 3 miles and are looking to take it up a notch or two. We'll move forward gradually, preparing you to complete the 10k distance first. Our INITIAL GOAL RACE will be the Cherry Blossom 10K on April 5th in Branch Brook Park.
NEXT we'll progress right into 3 additional weeks (5 sessions) of training for the Clinton Township Country 15K on Saturday, April 25th as our second goal race.
The group will meet twice weekly: Saturdays at 8am at Fleet Feet Montclair starting February 8th and Tuesdays at 6:30pm at Edgemont Park starting February 11th. (While participants training only for the 10k will conclude training on March 31st, those progressing to the 15k will continue training until April 21st.)
Participating in the races is not mandatory; the registration fee for each race is not included in the cost of this program.
