Winter Warrior Rules 2014-15 How do I earn points? 2pt- Run a Winter Warrior social run (social runs are approx 3-5 miles…all paces welcome!) 2 runs a week qualify. This allows everyone a great chance at earning prizes and the Winter Warrior title. Tuesdays with Next IT at 5:45pm, meet at Monterey Café Wednesdays at Method Juice at 6:30am, meet at Method Juice Thursday at 5:30pm, meet at Fleet Feet Spokane Valley Saturdays at 9:30am, meet at Fleet Feet Spokane or Spokane Valley (alternating weekends). -3pts- Run a Winter Warrior themed run. Note: These replace your “regular” run points if they land on a regularly scheduled WW run(ie 3 pts instead of 2) There will be 4 themed runs throughout the 11 week Winter Warrior season. (Pancake Run(Nov), Resolution Run(Dec), Super Bowl Run(Jan), Valentines Run(Feb)) -1 extra pt- Run in freezing (30 or below) temperatures! Depending on our winter….you could acquire many points this way. This includes our weekly and themed runs! -1 extra pt- Run in rain or snow during a group run with Winter Warrior. Same idea as running in freezing temperatures! -1 pt - Invite a friend (who is NOT a Winter Warrior) to run with you for their FIRST TIME at one of our social or themed runs! If that friend signs up for Winter Warrior after having a group run with us….you earn an additional 2 points! (make sure they name you in the registration process) -1 extra pt – Run in the Nite Life Run at Fleet Feet Spokane. -1 extra pt - Run in the Heater Run (apparel demo run) at Fleet Feet Spokane/Valley -1 extra pt - Run in the Nike Flash Run at Fleet Feet Spokane. (…and don’t get any ideas!) What do I get for all those points I earn? 45 points – a good prize 80 points – a better than good prize 110 points – a great prize 135 points and over – “A Way To Go Pat on the Back” and the enjoyment of knowing you are in great shape now and on your way to being the top Winter Warrior! ALSO…every 5 points will get you a raffle ticket for the end of season raffle items. RULES -Sign In (using Fitvil) AND Sign Out at each group run, themed run, or other Winter Warrior Event. If you forget to sign in and/or out….no points! -No signing in and heading off to do your own thing! Each run will have 2 mile & 5k route options. You must sign out too! If you’d like to run farther than the routes, please check out first before continuing...this allows staff or volunteers to have everyone checked out in a reasonable time frame. -NO WHINING! -NO selling, bartering, giving, donating, stealing, bargaining, haggling, negotiating, trading (or equivalent to these words) for points. -You must have fun, fake it if you have to, but fun is to be had by ALL. -You may only win one raffle prize. -Fleet Feet Sports reserves the right to make changes along the way (ie themes, dates, concerning weather considerations, etc) -Run at your own risk.
