2018 Spring Triathlon 101

If you have ever wanted to do a triathlon, this is the way to get started and achiever your goal! The Fleet Feet Sports Tri101 Training Program is a beginners Sprint Open Water Triathlon training program. The training program will be training for the Tri Latta Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, June 9th at the Latta Plantation on Lake Norman.

This program is structured to introduce participants to the sport of Triathlon and get you to the finish line. The training program is designed to prepare you for a successful sprint triathlon and includes: swim clinics, supported group training rides, beginner bike maintenance clinic, and a transition clinic.  Training for your first triathlon and putting all the pieces together can be hard on your own- but we've been coaching beginner triathletes for 10 years, and will help you get to the finish line!

This program is coached by Mike Huddleston, a very seasoned triathlete that has competed in numerous Ironman Triathlons and has coached many beginners to their first triathlon.  If you want to do your very first triathlon, or want to learn how to compete in an OPEN WATER SWIM sprint triathlon, this is the program for you!

In addition, through our partnership with Ken's Bike Shop- you will get all your bike questions answered!  Swim clinics are held at the WGW YMCA and we will are working on details for one open water swim before race day.
