Fleet Feet Sports is partnering with the best names in fitness in Winston-Salem to bring you a series of 4-week programs.  Each program will have a different focus with the goal to introduce you to a new fitness skill.  Our mission is to help you learn and enjoy a variety of activities that can help you with your running and walking.  Even more importantly we want to help you to be your best self!

Living Fit Series September 2017
This September we are bringing you the fantastic Deanna Dzybon from Rock Water Yoga to enhance your range of motion... both physically and mentally... with our "All Athletes Need Yoga" program!

  • Who:  All athletes!  Adding a well-rounded yoga practice to your weekly training plan includes dynamic flexibility training, core stabilization, strengthening and balance work. By focusing on these vital elements, yoga can help you recover faster after workouts, open up the tight areas that hinder performance, improve range of motion, and develop mental focus and concentration. The body must be worked through all three planes of motion in order to remain balanced and healthy. 
  • When:  "All Athletes Need Yoga" will meet on Wednesdays from 6:45PM - 7:30PM starting Wednesday, September 6th. Yoga will follow the Wednesday Group Run.  
  • Where:  Class will meet at Fleet Feet Sports and the practice will take place OUTSIDE.  Bring a yoga mat or towel with you as well as a water bottle.
  • Cost:  $30 per person for the 1x/week 4-week class. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to explore yoga with the incredible team from Rock Water Yoga!  As a fitness lover and runner, Deanna truly understands our Fleet Feet Sports customers.  She is eager to help you improve your range of motion with a simple and fulfilling yoga experience.  If you've been intimidated to try yoga then this is the perfect environment for you - literally - to stretch your horizons!
