Winter 21-22 Half & Full Marathon Training Group

LET'S RUN!! It's time to train for the WILMINGTON MARATHON!  Fleet Feet's Half & Full Marathon Training are 12-week programs that meet twice weekly for our group runs with the option of a third day (TBD) strength component. The weekly runs consist of hill/speed (Tuesday) and long-run (Saturday) workouts, while our partnership with AXIS Fitness has proven to be an awesome compliment that adds the necessary strength & conditioning to our training. While this add-on is optional, it is strongly recommended as it strengthens our bodies to make them able to maintain form under fatigue.  This combined with Fleet Feet's progressive training schedule is designed to prepare runners for a strong & successful half or full marathon. Whether your a seasoned veteran is looking to meet a new PR or this is your first endurance event, our program is here help you achieve your goal! Through educating you on the principles of endurance training, hydration, nutrition techniques, body awareness, pacing, and running autonomy Fleet Feet Run Club will take you the distance!

TIME TRIAL: 12/7- 6:30PM Fleet Feet
