Fall 2020 Hybrid Training 

It’s been a long summer, but you still have fitness goals, still want to run and still want to be part of the Fleet Feet Training community. Come join the Fall 2020 Fleet Feet Hybrid Training which offers you options for in-person, virtual trainings or a bit of both. This group is for everyone, from those just looking to get started running, to more accomplished runners looking to improve their race times.

Fleet Feet Hybrid Training is a 10-week training schedule with a specific start and end date, similar to Fleet Feet's in-person training programs. All athletes will start the Hybrid Training Program on the same day (Oct. 28-Zoom Kickoff) and work toward achieving their own individual goals.

You will receive a 10-week schedule designed for beginner (5K), intermediate (10K), and experienced runners (Half/full marathoners). The schedule will include daily assignments for running/walking, cross training, recovery, and Zoom meetings. We will be using Zoom, Facebook, and e-mail to interact with you and present training info. As extra motivation, there will be awards and prizes for various activities and achievements during the season.

You will log each workout on the Fleet Feet Running Club Strava group so your coaches can track your progress.

Your coaches will give you feedback each week to keep you accountable and motivated. Have a question for your coach before a big workout? Just send him/her an email or ask during the Zoom sessions.

Training Group Times & Locations: 

Kickoff: October 28th at 7 PM via Zoom meeting  

Twice a week coach-led trainings with small pods of runners: 

  • Tuesdays at 6PM 
  • Saturdays at 7AM 
  • Wednesdays at 7PM Zoom Meetings

Suggested Activity Level Prior To Start of Training: 

Participants should have been doing some exercising recently, but the program encourages walk/run intervals for those who haven’t been running a lot or are new to the sport. Experienced runners will be challenged as there will be schedules for both advanced and beginner runners. The opportunity will be there for veteran runners to do some challenging hill workouts and speed work. 

You are strongly encouraged to consult with your physician and have a physical in preparation for this rigorous training program.  

Training Group Levels 

1) Beginner – Train for a 5K using Run/Walk method 

2) Experienced– Faster paced and longer runs for more experienced runners. 

3) Advanced- For those training longer, that are hoping to run half or full marathon.

REGISTRATION for Fleet Feet Run Club: 

$100 for 10 weeks

There are no exchanges or transfers at any time 

A maximum of 100 people will be allowed
