10K Training FALL 2020

10K Training is designed to further runners and walkers towards their fitness and running goals beyond the 5K distance. Along the way we'll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice. As well as educational clinics on topics like proper nutrition, choosing the right gear and avoiding injury.  10K = 6.2 miles

Must be able to comfortably run 2 miles with minimal walking intervals.  We offer the following paces:  Running, Walk/Run.  Please register for our WalkStrong 5K/10K Fall training program if you wish to walk the whole distance.

Goal Race is Reindeer Dash 5K/10K on December 5, 2020.  Race Registration is not included in the training fee.

The training program fee is 95.00 and will be billed to participants after registered.

The Program meets on Saturday mornings at 6:30 am. The workouts will last about an hour+ as we increase mileage throughout the season. In addition to the workouts there are educational clinics, motivational speakers, newsletters keeping you up to date and expert coaching/mentoring to help inspire and motivate you on this training journey.

Due to corporate guidelines regarding COVID-19, please note that there will be some changes to our 10K training group.  Participants will be required to continue practicing social distancing.  Groups running together will be reduced in size.  Participants will be responsible for providing their own hydration and nutrition for the group runs.  Registered participants will receive weekly email of where Saturday's group run will meet.  Updated waiver of liability will be required to be signed by each participant.  

Training begins September 29, 2020.
