2020 Summer 5K Intermediate Training

Our group is perfect for those who have run their first 5K and want to improve but are not yet ready for longer distances, or for seasoned runners who want to meet a new 5K goal. We have two group workouts each week and provide homework assignments per week. We will also give information regarding many topics such as: hydration, nutrition, preventing injuries, proper gear, and more. Plus, you will have the camaraderie of others just like you! Come join us...running changes everything!

Summer 5K Intermediate Training will run Tuesdays 5:30 pm and Saturdays 7:30 am at several locations in town. This 6 week program will be held July 14th - August 22nd with the option to participate in a virtual 5k race with others.

Due to Covid-19 precautions at the current phase, our summer program will look a little different this go around. This 6 week session will include group led workouts and with a  maximum of 50 members.  Registration is open to 40 participants per group and will be accepted to each program on a first come first served basis. Social distance guidelines will be practiced, members are required to bring their own water and follow any new procedures.
