Holly Springs Adult Summer 2020 Speed Training

Holly Springs Adult Summer Speed is a 12-week program for adults to help work on improving their running speed & overall fitness. It is for all levels and paces, but does have an expectation of a current running base of 15 miles per week coming into the class. Do not let the word "speed" scare you off: it's for ALL PACES! You'll work on improving your OWN speed and we'll all be running in the same area together and cheer each other on. :)

The class will include a detailed daily plan over the 12 weeks, with 2 coached group runs per week, cross-training, strength training, and longer run days. Our focus will be on shorter distances and recovery from spring marathon training, though. We'll do a test 5K at the beginning of the season and then again at the end to see your improvement.

Cost of the class is $75. Cost includes: 12-week training schedule, 2 coach-led group workouts per week, email access to the coach throughout the program, 10% discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), training class shirt, in-class seminars on running-related topics, and weekly tips and running information from your coach to supplement your knowledge.

Program dates: May 5th - July 23rd. Group training will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30am, in Holly Springs, (at Pace Yourself Run Company: 242 S Main St, Suite 102 & some class dates at Holly Ridge Middle School track).
