Adult 8K/16K Summer 2020
The Adult 8K/16K training class is an 8-week program designed to help runners prepare for the NC Spring Classic 8K or 16K at the end of the season: to run a further distance than they ever have or to improve their pacing: all levels and abilities are welcome.
The group goal race is: NC Spring Classic 8K/16K on Saturday, September 5th and a 20% discount code has been provided for the class for this race. (Race registration is separate from training class registration at: https://fsseries.com/event/north-carolina-spring-classic/.)
Cost of this class is: $60. Cost includes: 8-week training schedule, 2 coach-led group workouts per week, email access to the coach throughout the program, 10% discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), a class training shirt, and tips and information about various topics associated with running.
Program dates: July 16th - September 2nd. Group training will meet Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm and Saturdays 8-9:30am, at Pace Yourself Run Company (242 S. Main Street, Suite 102, Holly Springs, NC 27540).

COVID-19: We are in unprecedented times right now and respect everyone's comfort level for run training. The training plan can be followed virtually or you can join in person. Coach will ensure that social distancing is enforced throughout class, staggering run starts to assist with that as necessary. We ask that each trainee respects all others' comfort level, abides by coach's instructions, and does not attend class if feeling sick in any way. Many races are being cancelled or going virtual during this time. As of registration time, the NCSC is still approved to be on, but that may change due to state or town future restrictions. We know how frustrating this is, but know that you will not regret the awesome training experience and gain a lot from it. Your health is our top priority and Pace Yourself Run Company and the training class coach are here to support you and minimize risk to keep you all safe.
