2020 9-Month Marathon Training (2 programs)

This is not an active group.

Join Fleet Feet to train for a full marathon, but take most of the year to prepare for it. This program will enroll you in a path to bring you from where ever you are now, to a full 26.2 miles by October! You'll have coaches training you all the way through, and mentors running the mileage with you. Plus a whole herd of future friends and new running colleagues to keep you accountable and motivated.

This program actually includes TWO programs, and you choose your starting point. First you choose one of the following 2 programs:

- If you are just starting up and getting some miles on your legs, you'll join up with our 10k Training Program starting the end of February through mid-May (these runs will take place Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings). This program will bring you up to 6 miles, which is right where our Fall Marathon program begins in June.



- If you are a little further along in your training, you'll start up with our Half Marathon Training Program in mid-February and go until beginning of May (these runs will take place on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings). This program will keep you in shape and keep your mileage a bit higher (starting at 4 miles and ending at 13) through the spring and ending in time to jump into the Fall Marathon Program.


THEN, after that first program, you'll be enrolled in our Fall Marathon Training Program which will start up at the beginning of June and get you ready for any Fall marathon (most specifically Chicago or Monumental Marathon).
