Fall Trail Marathon Team

  • Fall Marathon Trail Team's 12-week training program starts Tuesday, August 20th (various local meeting points) and ends Saturday, November 9th
  • We will offer Tuesday and Saturday runs each week, with a full 12-week training plan that continues from the strong base of the Pescadero 30K plan 
  • Our first long run will be ~16-17 miles and our longest run will be ~24 miles so we have plenty of time to train, get those legs even stronger and help you focus on form, hill climbing, speed, nutrition or whatever else you want to work on 
  • While our official "target race" will be the Vista Verde Skyline marathon (11/2) our training plan will build to a marathon distance in time for the Skyline-to-Sea race in October. So for those of you who've signed up for S2S, this will be perfect for you! And.. for those of you who already signed up for Mt. Tam, you'll be in great shape to crush the hills of Marin by race day on 11/9!
As so many of you have told us, running with friends is the key to your running success and a regular training plan helps keep you in shape. And when the days grow shorter, we all know it helps having a running buddy to get you (safely) out the door!
