What is Make It A Mile?
Make It A Mile is a 4-week walking/running program designed to help beginners take the first steps to getting healthy by completing one mile. The program includes a safe, guided training plan designed to allow you to work at your own pace in a non-threatening, non-judgmental environment. At the end of the 4-weeks, you'll be able to run or run/walk 1-mile feeling healthy, happy, and strong. We encourage participants to exercise at their own comfortable pace.
We will meet every Monday and Wednesday at 6pm except for the first week. Make it a Mile starts September 9th and ends Wednesday, October 2nd. On Thursday, October 3rd you can try out your training with a 1 mile fun run with the start of out No Boundaries program!
The cost of the program is $25.
