What is Make It A Mile?
Make It A Mile is a 4-week walking/running program designed to help beginners take the first steps to getting healthy by completing one mile. The program includes a safe, guided training plan designed to allow you to work at your own pace in a non-threatening, non-judgmental environment. At the end of the 4-weeks, you'll be able to run or run/walk 1-mile feeling healthy, happy, and strong. We encourage participants to exercise at their own comfortable pace.
We will meet every Monday and Wednesday at 6pm. Make it a Mile starts September 9th and ends Wednesday, October 2nd. On Thursday, October 3rd you can try out your training with a 1 mile fun run with the start of out No Boundaries program!
The cost of the program is $25.
