FFRC Haunted Hilly 10k 2019
The Fleet Feet Running Club 10K: Finish program is for beginner-intermediate runners who have completed a 5K before and who want to train to double the distance! The program is structured to help you cross the 10K finish line after just 8 weeks. Our 10K training is perfect for No Boundaries 5K and 5k: Finish training alumni who are looking to take the next step in their training. It is also geared to accommodate runners with 5K experience who are looking to increase their distance.
Looking for a faster 10K time? Then 10K: FAST is the group for you! Challenge your previous best and improve your personal pace with interval training incorporated into a progressive workout schedule. Test yourself at The Haunted Hilly 10k on October 26th.
Along the way we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus you’ll have the camaraderie of others training with you! Whether you choose 10K: FINISH or 10K: FAST, we'll help you reach your goals! Our 10K programs are just $85 and include an 8 week daily training plan, store discounts and coupons, and race discounts for The Haunted Hilly 10k!
Registration for 10K:FINISH and 10K:FAST is lumped together as one group. All 10K participants will meet together, then split up for varying exercises, drills, and runs.
- Season Starts: Wednesday, August 28th at 6:30pm at the Fleet Feet Pub Run-- this will be the first run/walk!
- Season Logistics: Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm, Saturday mornings at 9am and some at home runs and cross training. Locations will vary depending on the week's focus. We will run from the store, Beutter Park on the Mishawaka River Walk, and other locations throughout the season. Don't worry, we will always communicate the location ahead of time!
- Goal Race: Haunted Hilly 10k on October 26th
The fall program will start Wednesday, August 28th at 6:30pm with our Fleet Feet Pub Run! At this event you will meet your coaches/mentors, get a chance to meet other members of the group and ask any questions you may have.
The goal race for this session will be The Haunted Hilly 10k on October 26th, however if you would like to train for another race, we can adjust the training schedule for you!
