I know that running and walking are potentially hazardous activities. I agree not to participate in this running, walking class (Fleet Feet Menlo Park Trail class) unless I am medically able. I assume all risks associated with running or walking, but not limited to falls, the condition of the course and road, traffic, contact with other participants, and the effects of weather including heat, humidity, cold and rain. All such risks are known and understood by me. I, the undersigned, hereby waive and release Fleet Feet Inc. and anyone acting on their behalf from any and all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the Fleet Feet Training Program, its related events and activities, I, the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that: The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury or death does exist. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releases or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the Company immediately; and, I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Fleet Feet Menlo Park and Fleet Feet, Inc., their agents, employees, coaches, volunteers, officers, directors, successors and assigns, the City of Menlo Park, City of Portola Valley, City of San Mateo, City of Palo Alto, City of Woodside, and any and all sponsors, their representatives and successors ("Releasees"), with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence or participation, whether arising from the negligence of the releases or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I attest that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in the Fleet Feet Training Program, and my medical care provider has approved my participation. Further, I hereby release, consent to, and authorize, in advance, any such use of my name, photograph, voice or likeness by the foregoing parties in any manner they deem appropriate and necessary without remuneration to me. I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS.

I promise to follow safety rules; to abide by park regulations; to watch out for poison oak and bees; to notify coaches if I have bee allergies; to follow my coaches' advice always; and to have a fantastic time! I agree to take responsibility for my own safety and well-being and to do my best to follow directions. I also agree not to blame others if I make a wrong turn due to my own poor map reading skills. I will do my best to bring positive energy to the group and I will be supportive of other runners and polite to other trail users.

This class has a three-week trial period; you can get a refund if you choose to withdraw during that time. Please note that your entire $200 class fee is refundable but the $8 Fitvil processing fee is not. Please also note that your race entry fee is not included in your class fee.
