2018 Intermediate 5K: FAST Training Program

2018 FALL Intermediate 5K: FAST Training Program
This program is ideal for runners who have a little 5K experiences, and want to improve upon their previous times. In this training program, we will be incorporating speed & strength workouts each week to help improve aerobic capacity as the program progresses. These workouts will include things like hill repeats, fartlek running, body weight exercises, etc. The group will meet at 6pm every Tuesday and 8am every Saturday.
The Fleet Feet Intermediate 5K: FAST Training Program is an 10 week intermediate running curriculum designed to guide you safely and effectively into improving your running time, and ultimately becoming more fit. This organized training class offers coaching, organized weekly workouts, a specific training schedule aimed at a goal event, pace groups for runners and walkers, weekly communication and motivation, special clinics, a special product package, and more! This program will culminate with the Jingle Jog 5K on December 15th!

Requirements: You will need to have participated in a 5K (or longer) race prior to entering this program. If you haven't, consider our 5K FINISH program for your first 5k.
