Training Program - WalkFit I - Summer

WalkFit is the perfect first step on your way to a healthy lifestyle. A supportive and trained coaching team will help the WalkFIT 1 team adopt a regular fitness walking routine and assist you along the way. You will be encouraged and prepared to fitness walk a 5K at the completion of the training program. Participants must be able to walk .75 miles at a 20 minute/mile pace (approximately 15 minutes) and be prepared to increase time and distance weekly. Participants with significant medical concerns should check these criteria with a physician before starting the program.

Each Session Includes:

- (2) Weekly organized and coached fitness walks
- Professionally developed daily training schedule
- Various pace group options
- Weekly educational/special guest discussions
- Coach led dynamic warm-up and cool down

*REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to walk .75 miles at a 20 min/mile pace (approximately 15 minutes) and be prepared to increase time and distance each week.
