Big Run 5k Training

This is not an active group.

The Big Run 5k will be held on Global Running Day.  We are partnering with Northwest Trail Runs for the second year in a row to host this event in Interlaken Park.  The Big Run 5k will be run on a mix of road and trail throughout the park. 

This is an 8 week program designed to get you prepped for the event.  However, you don't have to be running the 5k to get something out of this program.  We'll be teaching some trail running basics and focusing on some great 5k workouts.  So Big Run participant or not, you can get a lot out of this training group.  Practice will be Tuesday nights at 6:30pm.  We will be meeting at Volunteer Park, as opposed to starting at Fleet Feet.  Hope to see you out there!
