In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the Fleet Feet Sports Training Programs, its related events and activities, I, the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that: The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury or death does exist. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releases or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the Company immediately; and, I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless the FLEET FEET SPORTS – Augusta, their agents, employees, coaches, volunteers, officers, directors, successors and assigns, the City of Augusta, and any and all sponsors, their representatives and successors ("Releasees"), with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence or participation, whether arising from the negligence of the releases or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I attest that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in the Fleet Feet Sports No Boundaries 5K and 10K Training Program, and my medical care provider has approved my participation. Further, I hereby release, consent to, and authorize, in advance, any such use of my name, photograph, voice or likeness by the foregoing parties in any manner they deem appropriate and necessary without remuneration to me. FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF PARTICIPANTS OF MINORITY AGE (UNDER AGE 18 AT TIME OF REGISTRATION): This is to certify that I, as a parent/guardian with legal responsibility for this participant, do consent and agree to his/her release as provided above of all the Releasees, and, for myself, my child and our heirs, assigns, and next of kin, I release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all liabilities incident to my minor child's involvement or participation in these programs as provided above, even if arising from the negligence of the releases, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS.

1. All participants must sign-up, pay, and join a Fleet Feet Training Program 2. All participants must sign-in/check-in and sign-out/check out at each practice 3. Don't assume a driver sees you. In fact, imagine that a driver can't see you. 4. Always run on the left side of the road facing traffic. The best way to avoid an untimely meeting with a vehicle is to see it coming. 5. In busy areas stay on sidewalks where possible. When running in large groups, it is much safer to be out of the way. 6. Run single file in congested areas or wherever there is oncoming traffic. 7. Respect a driver's right to the road. 8. Use your ears as well as your eyes- don’t wear headphones. 9. Beware of stopped cars making a right hand turn. Either stop to wait for them to turn or go behind them. 10. Don’t challenge cars to a race. If you are both approaching an intersection, stop and let them go first. 11. Cross at cross walks or traffic signals whenever possible. Obey traffic rules and signals. Runners, as pedestrians, are bound by traffic laws. 12. Use hand signals to show which way you plan to turn. 13. If running at night, reflective great is a must (reflective vest, blinking light and/or a headlamp are all good options.) 14. If running alone, let someone know your route and your estimated run time. Carry your phone. 15. Always carry some sort of ID. 16. If you need to stop and tie your shoe, pull off to the side of the road and out of the way. 17. Be alert at all times. Be wary of “runner’s high,” fatigue, or any lapse of concentration. 18. Carry a noisemaker or get training in self-defense and the use of pepper spray. You may wish to share additional rules of the road with your training program participants.

If for a medical or personal reason you are unable or unwilling to continue training within the first 3 weeks of the program we will be happy to issue you a full refund for the program. Although this does not include any processing or admin fee's associated with our registration provider site. Full refunds can take up to a week to process back onto a credit card. If you are unable or unwilling to continue training after 3 weeks into training we will be happy to issue you a transfer voucher for a future training program of your choice and value. This means you can even join any of our other programs in the future, even if the registration fee is more than what you paid. Our overall goal is your safety and smart training, and we would love for you to participate in any of our future programs when you are back able and willing.
