10K & Half Marathon Training Group Summer 2016

The Fleet Feet Sports 10K & Half Marathon Training Program is a 12 week program designed to prepare runners for their first ever endurance event, or to help seasoned runners meet a new performance goal. This program educates participants on endurance training principles, hydration and nutrition techniques, pacing, proper running form, and more. Cost is $85 per participant for the half marathon program and $80 for the 10K program.

Both programs meet twice a week on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 7:30 a.m. beginning Tuesday, July 5th. The workouts will last about an hour to an hour and a half as we increase mileage throughout the program. In addition to the workouts, particpants get access to educational clinics, motivational speakers, newsletters keeping you up to date, and expert coaching/mentoring to help inspire and motivate you on this training journey.

The training program is geared for the We Care Twin Cities 10K and Half Marathon on Saturday, September 24 in Bloomington.
