Half Marathon Training - Fall 2016
Train with Fleet Feet Brookfield to run the Milwaukee Running Festival Half Marathon on November 6, 2016!
We will begin our Half Marathon Training Group on Saturday, July 30, 2016.
WHAT? We'll lead you on your long Saturday runs, challenge you with that all-important speed work no one wants to do alone, and give you lots of support along the way!
WHY? We'll help you reach your own personal goals including, but not limited to, increasing speed, improving endurance and/or running without discomfort. You'll also reap the benefits of having a group to train with which will help you stay motivated!
WHO? The program is designed for runners who are currently able to run 4 consecutive miles without walking. If you are not at that level but would like to train for the half marathon, please contact Noel at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will work with you to determine the best course of action. Whether this is your 1st half marathon or you've already completed several, we're here to provide you with some great coaching, clinics and most importantly, a great group of people to run with.
Info Session: Monday, July 25th @ 7pm
1st Group Run is Saturday, July 30th @ 7am
Long Runs will be Saturdays at 7am and Speed Work Group Runs will be Tuesdays at 6pm.
Goal Race: Milwaukee Running Festival Half Marathon on Sun, Nov 6, 2016.
WHERE? Tuesday and Saturday Group Runs begin at the Fleet Feet Brookfield store unless otherwise determined.
HOW? Sign up online! OR you can avoid the online sign-up fee by signing up for this training group in-store at Fleet Feet Sports, located at 17550 B-1 W Bluemound Rd, Brookfield, WI 53045. We're open M-F 10am-7pm, Sat 10am-6pm and Sun 11am-5pm.
As part of the experience, program participants will receive:
-A 14 week training program and calendar with detailed workouts
-Coached group runs on Saturdays at 7am and Tuesdays at 6:00pm
-Weekly emails from coaches with tips, advice, motivation and encouragement
-Dedicated support from coaches and mentors to answer individual questions
-Periodic clinics focused on technique, nutrition, injury prevention, race day tips, apparel and more
-Training Group T-Shirt
-$15 Promo Gift Card to use at Fleet Feet Brookfield
Cost: $100 until July 1st, $120 thereafter (Program fee does not include race registration)

Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued once the group has begun. If you are unable to complete the training program for any reason, we will allow you to join a future training group for a reduced cost, prorated based on how long you were able to participate in the current group. Fleet Feet Sports Brookfield reserves the right to cancel group runs for severe weather and/or emergency situations. In the event of a cancelled class, refunds will not be granted. Fleet Feet Sports Brookfield makes every effort to hold group runs if at all possible.
