The Big Run 5/10K Training Program 2023
Have you ever experienced the runner’s high that comes with crossing a finish line? There’s nothing quite like it. Whether it’s your first ever 5/10K, or your 50th, Fleet Feet Meridian has a training program that will get you to the finish line of our most exciting 5/10K of the year: The Big Run!
The Big Run Training Program presented by Brooks will begin the week of April 3rd and will offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced plans to choose from. Each plan offers a balance of run and/or walk workouts, mobility, cross training and rest days to gradually increase your fitness and/or finish times. Each week you will receive two recommended days of training, two in person coach led runs, and one virtual live mobility and stretch class. Plus, your training group will provide connection and motivation you need to stay on track and have fun along the way.
Big Run Training program culminates with 5/10K Race on June 10th, in celebration of Global Running Day. More than a race, The Big Run is a celebration of running and the community it pulls together.

Kickoff Party and Group Run April 3rd at 5:30 (Fleet Feet Meridian)
Wednesdays- Midweek Mobility and Strength Exercises on Zoom 12pm
Thursdays- Pace and /or Speed Training at Hillsdale Park 5:30pm
Saturdays- Group Run/Walk at Various Treasure Valley Locations at 9:30am
