2022 Fall Marathon/Half Marathon Training Program

 

Whether it's your first half marathon or you’ve completed multiple fulls, our professionally designed 13-week Marathon and Half Marathon programs are ideal for those runners with 26.2 or 13.1 as their goal distances. With its progressive program design, each week builds upon the last through a combination of speed, strength, and endurance work that will have you standing confidently at the starting line on race day.

 

THE DETAILS:

Goal Race: The Towpath Marathon/Half Marathon on October 8, 2022

(Training Calendars will also be created for those running in the Columbus Half/Full Marathon on October 16th)

Weekly Group Runs Begin Tuesday July 12, 2022

Tuesdays: two separate 6:00 pm group workouts at Fleet Feet Westlake & Fleet Feet Pepper Pike

Saturdays: one 8:00am group long run at various Cleveland Metroparks near 1 of the Fleet Feet Cleveland stores

    • A full workout schedule for all non-group training days will be provided so that you can keep your weekly mileage in rhythm.
    • Training Programs A, B, & C will allow for a personalized schedule specifically designed for advanced, intermediate, & beginner runners
    • Fully supported group runs and walks complete with turn-by-turn routes and coaches.
    • Informational clinics and educational opportunities to help make your training more effective.
    • Comprehensive weekly newsletter from Head Coach (a must-read to be "in the know" on the upcoming week's training details, logistical information, group specials and events, etc.)
    • Complete access to Training Program Coordinator and Coaches. After all, we are one big family and we are here for you!

Program Kick-Off Celebration: Saturday, July 16th

Invite all of your running buddies to join our first Saturday group run on July 16th at 8:00am for a chance to experience what Fleet Feet Cleveland Training Programs are all about!

We'll meet at Egbert Picnic Area in Bedford Reservation where you'll hear introductions from our Training Programs Coordinator and coaches and then get to join in our group run through the metroparks. Stick around after the run for the celebration! We'll have coffee, donuts, drinks, music, & more! Any and all are welcome, come check out the program to see if you're interested in joining Fleet Feet CLE Training Programs!
