Beat the Heat half/full marathon endurance training

What matters isn't where you are today; it's where you want to go. Welcome to the Fleet Feet Tucson Running Club! At Fleet Feet, We believe that "Running and Walking Changes Everything". It trims our waistlines and boosts our immune systems. It makes our hearts and minds strong. It empowers us to tackle new adventures in our personal and professional lives. It connects us to new people who quickly become "sole" mates. It makes us laugh and sometimes can make us cry. It allows us to indulge in our favorite food and drink. It gives us purpose. It enables us to do something good for ourselves.

Fleet Feet's Beat the Heat endurance training will help you keep up your fitness and endurance training in order to be geared up and ready to hit the ground running for fall half & full marathon training. We'll have two group runs each week including a mid-week speed workout and a weekend long run. This season, we'll have options to meet in Oro Valley as well as east Tucson. With your registration you can attend either location, whichever works better for you and your schedule that week. East Tucson will meet 6pm on Tuesdays and early Saturday mornings. Oro Valley will meet 5am on Wednesdays and early Sunday mornings. Locations will vary but include Udall Park, Riverfront Park, Wilson Middle School Track, Esperero Middle School Track, and more. All levels are welcome! Running is at our core.

Even as COVID-19 persists, we strongly believe running remains essential to a healthy lifestyle and can still be done safely following the CDC’s recommended social distancing measures. We will continue serving our running communities in accordance with local and federal guidelines while ensuring our locally owned and operated stores withstand the challenges of this unprecedented crisis.
