WalkStrong 5K and 10K - FALL 2020

WalkStrong is perfect for those who aren't runners but still want to be active and fit by walking.  WalkStrong is strictly walking and perfect for the beginner exerciser to the advanced walker.  Supportive and trained mentors will help you adopt a regular walking routine and assist you along the way. You will be encouraged and prepared to complete a 5K (3.1 miles) or a 10K (6.2 miles) at the completion of the program.

 

The training program fee is 95.00.

Our goal race will be Reindeer Dash 5K/10K.  Race registration fee is not included in the program fee.  

 

This session will include one weekly organized coached run on Saturdays at 6:30 a.m.  In addition to the group workouts, there is a professionally developed daily training schedule, various pace group options, weekly educational/special guest discussions and a coached led dynamic warm-up and cool down.  Coach Karen will send weekly emails to registered participants keeping you up to date on weekly workouts and coaching to help inspire and motivate you on this training journey.

 

Due to corporate guidelines regarding COVID-19, please note that there will be some changes to our No Boundaries training group.  Participants will be required to continue practicing social distancing.  Group running together will be reduced in size.  Participants will be responsible for providing their own hydration and nutrition for the group runs.  Updated waiver of liability will be required to be signed by each participant.
