Skills & Drills 2020

Take Good Form Running outdoors and come play in the park! This eight-week spring series is designed to improve your running efficiency and economy between training seasons. Runners will participate in a coached practice session each week designed to develop their overall mechanics and streamline their gait & stride. In addition to a structured aerobic or anaerobic workout, these practices will also include technique-driven cross-training and strength-training components to help you maximize your fall training season.

What to expect at workouts:

  • The focus of the workouts is to implement the core principles of Good Form Running: posture, cadence, mid foot and lean.
  • Each session will have a skill, drill and cardiovascular component to ensure that participants are properly implementing the GFR techniques and getting a good aerobic workout at the same time.
  • The Skills & Drills class is designed to help new runners become more efficient, and teach veteran runners different ways to hone their technique.
