Spring Training - 10k - 2020 - Fleet Feet Raleigh/Morrisville

Spring Training - 10k is a 13-week program beginning January 7th to further runners and walkers toward their fitness and running goals beyond the 5K distance. This program is designed to help you complete a 10K (6.2 Miles) by April 4th, 2020. We will meet Tuesday at 6pm​ and ​Saturdays at 7:30am. Our goal race is the Cooper River Bridge 10K, April 4th* in Charleston, SC. The program is sponsored by Mizuno.

Race registration is not included with the program. The Cooper River Bridge Run sells out every year, so register early!

We will meet every Tuesdays at 6pm at the NC Museum of Art and on Saturdays at 7:30am at various locations in the area.

We have 7 pace group options to meet you where you are right now:

1)Runners (Sub 11min/mile, 11-12min/mile, 12-13min/mile)
2)Run/walk plan to run (increase running interval each week)
4)Run/walk 1 (Run 3 min/Walk 1 min interval throughout the entire program) 

What is the cost of the Program? $100

Cost includes: Technical shirt from Mizuno; coaching two days a week with a detailed training plan; great opportunity to meet running and run/walking partners; introduction to running routes on area trails and neighborhoods. Seminar Topics including: Running form, speed training, injury prevention, cross training, exercise apparel and gear, nutrition, race preparation, and more!
