Spring Training - Marathon 2020 - Fleet Feet Raleigh/Morrisville

The Fleet Feet Raleigh/Morrisville Marathon program is a beginner/intermediate marathon training program beginning on January 7th. 

The program is designed to train participants to complete their first marathon or improve their prior marathon time. For participants looking for more intense group workouts designed to increase their endurance and speed at this distance, please check out our PR Squad.

We will train for 13 weeks on Tuesdays at 6 pm and Saturdays at 7:30 am.

Spring Training is not geared to one particular goal race. Participants are encouraged to sign up for whichever half or full marathon they would like to run! We will have training schedules that are adjusted to different goal races in the area. If you are planning to do a race elsewhere please let your coach know.

Participants need to be comfortable running or using run/walk intervals for 4 miles at a 14:30 min/mile pace before the start of the program. Please make sure you are running/walking at least 4 days out of the week.

No walking-only pace group options.

No run/walk pace group options for the Full Marathon program.

We offer 7 pace groups to best suit your training:

Sub 9 minute / mile

9-10 minute / mile

10-11 minute / mile

11-12 minute / mile

12-13 minute / mile
