2019 Summer Speed Sessions

Summer Speed + Strength Program begins Tuesday, July 2!

Tuesday Morning SPEED Sessions: Battle Ground Academy Track @ 6 am

Thursday Morning STRENGTH Sessions: Battle Ground Academy Track @ 6 am

 *note - no workout July 4*

If you feel like you are stuck at a certain pace and longing to get faster, then this program is a perfect fit for you. The goal of this 4-week program is to give you a solid foundation of speed and strength fundamentals to create explosive results during your runs. We want to help you improve your next 5k, 10k, half marathon or marathon time by becoming a more efficient and stronger runner. Don't let the word "speed" scare you. These sessions are designed for runners of all levels. 

Registered participants will receive:

  • 8 sessions total in July (5 speed + 3 strength workouts)
  • Weekly coach's emails 
  • Guidance on proper form, nutrition/hydration, proper gear
  • Demo on injury prevention and recovery techniques from Spine & Sport Rehabilitation Institute
  • $20 off 60 or 90 min deep tissue massages exclusively at Franklin Massage Center - unlimited for the entire program
  • Discounted muscle recovery package from Pure Sweat + Float Studio

**Ideal for adults and youth ages 12 & up. Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult during the workouts.
