The Big Run 5K Training Group
This is a beginner-focused group. We utilize the WALK-RUN method to ensure that anyone in reasonable health can finish the goal distance, 5K. All ages and abilities are welcome. The 8 week program meets twice per week (Mondays at 6:00pm and Saturdays at 7am) and our goal race is The Big Run on National Running Day, Wednesday, June 5th. What can you expect from this group?
Supportive and inspiring coaches, tips and product advice, various pace groups to match your ability, non-competitive environment, weekly training schedules, free seminars with local professionals, demo runs with the support of our awesome vendors, participant Facebook page, group training shirt, and end of session celebration party!
Info meeting will be Monday, April 1st at 6pm at the store; our first run will be Monday, April 8th at 6pm at the store.
