Did you know 80% of New Years Resolutions fail by the second week of February?  With that WE say, so what?  NOW is the time to COMMIT to a running goal. The Big Commit 5K will train you for The Big Run 5K on June 5th at 6pm.  The Big Run 5K is an untimed Fleet Feet Sports run that is happening on Global Running Day!  What better way to get back on track!

The Big Commit 5K (3.1 miles):  Are you considering tackling your first 5K? How about getting back to where you use to be, or want to be?  Our program focuses on ALL levels of walkers and runners.  No matter your goal we will help you achieve it. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line in just 8 weeks!  Along the way we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you! 

Workouts:  Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 pm at Fleet Feet

Practices start: April 9th

Race Date: Wednesday, June 5th at 6:00pm - The Big Run 5K

Cost: $85

  • Includes race registration
  • The Big Run 5K Shirt
  • The Big Run 5K Finishers Medal
  • A coached 8 week training program with 2 practices per week 

Participants receive:  Detailed training schedule, informational clinics, weekly e-mails with tips & advice, AND constant support!
