2019 Fall Intro to Chi Training Program

A natural running technique based on the movement principles of T'ai Chi, Chi Running encourages you to tap into the energy that unites your mind, body & spirit. The approach reduces injury and improves running efficiencies while applying the principles of relaxation, correct alignment and posture, mid-foot strike, using gravity-assisted lean and engaging core strength. This 4-week introductory program will include running drills and exercises to learn technique and form. We will explore posture, alignment, arm position, cadence and the use of core muscles to take pressure off the legs and allow the body to run with ease and efficiency. We'll learn to run with less impact, which reduces injury and increases confidence. Join us in learning a gentle approach for powerful results. Our Chi-Running program includes individual video analysis.

Class size is limited to 18 participants.  Class size minimum requirement - 10 participants.

Class meets on Thursdays in September - 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th at 6pm in Brookdale Park.  Rain Date on Thursday, October 3rd.
