JOIN US for a FREE New Balance Running Club Training Program geared for Fall 2018 Races, led by Scott Waldrop, RRCA Certified Running Coach.
FREE TRAINING PROGRAM - All ages and abilities are welcome!
This FREE Training Program, with a focus on GOOD FORM RUNNING, is designed for beginning runners to more experienced runners. Learn how to run more efficiently with better form and take your running to another level. Specific training plans will be provided along with twice weekly coaching sessions on TUESDAYS at 6 PM and SATURDAYS at 8 AM.
In addition to Good Form Running, clinics on proper nutrition, hydration, recovery, footwear and running gear will be provided. Plus, participants receive 20% store discounts, free tech shirt, COMP* entry to target race, snacks & refreshments and more!
Target Races: Bull City Race Fest Half Marathon & 5 Mile, Raleigh Greenway 10 Miler & 5K , New Balance Thanksgiving Day 5K & 8K

This coming Tuesday join Mary & I at the Raleigh New Balance store to kick off the fall 2018 run group/training season! This group/service is provided 100% FREE to the community compliments of New Balance RDU. Anyone and every of all colors, shapes, sizes, skills, (whatever) is welcome to join in at ANY time. Please don’t be shy!

Race C: Race New Balance Thanksgiving Day 8K and 5K, The 8K and 5K begin at the same time...8:30 AM. Just past the 1 mile mark, the 8K turns onto the Am / Durham, NC / Thanksgiving Day

Mary is an amazing plant-based cook. She’ll be bring her homemade goodies and will share her knowledge on the topic of a plant-based cooking/lifestyle with anyone that wants to learn.
We’re training for road races but we’re going to keep the ethos of this run group based upon the following: run locations abundant in serene natural beauty, comradery, fun, surrounding ourselves with other positive people. and personal improvement. My wife Mary (and High School sweetheart) runs this group with me. She is T. Colin Campbell Plant-based certified, a licensed massage therapist, and a great runner in her own right. Together, we want to share our love of nature and companionship. This group is open to all levels as I have the following team to help lead various skill levels
This run group is for ALL levels. Here’s how we do it and why we do it: As a run group we work on the buddy system and currently have me, Mary, and three other team leaders. This simply means we make sure one person oversees a certain pace group. So, if you are a new runner we’ve got you covered. If you’re an experienced marathoner or ultra-runner you can run in the front with me to get some productive training in with like-minded athletes while inspiring others!
