Jingle Bell 5K Training & Nutrition

 

Whether you are new to fitness, transitioning into winter running or looking to PR in a 5K road race, let Fleet Feet handle all of your fall training. Back for another round of excellence, our mentored WalkFit and 5K.1 Beginner and 5K.2 Intermediate Finish programs will take you from the couch to the starting line using progressive, walk-jog intervals. The coached 5K.3 Advanced training is geared for runners who are already comfortable with the distance, but want to set a personal best. Ease into winter weather by joining the most dynamic group in the city and running a flat and fun-filled Jingle Bell race (registration for this race is separate)!

 

We are adding in a Nutrition component to this session of No Boundaries! Fall back into good habits or stay accountable with our group through focused weekly topics and daily check-ins. Our registered dietitian will be available through our private Facebook group to support us throughout the program!

 

10-Week Program: October 1st-December 8th

$75 for New Members, $65 for NoBo Alumni (Alumni email kisa@fleetfeetpittsburgh.com for the code)

 

THREE PROGRAMS TO CHOOSE FROM:

WalkFIT & Walk-Jog Intervals

o Designed for those with little to no running experience who would like to cross the finish line walking or using walk-jog intervals.

o Group Runs: Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM in South Park & Saturday morning at 7:30 AM in Riverfront Park Downtown

 

No Boundaries 5K.1 Beginner & 5K.2 Intermediate

o Designed for those with little to no running experience who would like to cross the finish line running the entire 5k distance. This program begins with structured intervals and progresses into easily-paced continuous jogging.

o Group Runs: Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM in South Park & Saturday morning at 7:30 AM in Riverfront Park Downtown

 

No Boundaries 5K.3 Advanced

o Designed for those who have experience at the 5K distance and want to set a personal best by incorporating interval-based, heart rate zone training as well as elements of speed and strength training in their program.

o Group Runs: Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM in South Park & Saturday morning at 7:30 AM in Riverfront Park Downtown
