Training Program - WalkFit I - Fall
Take steps toward a healthier lifestyle with this low-impact program that helps you safely incorporate walking into a regular fitness routine.
WalkFit is the perfect first step on your way to a healthy lifestyle. A supportive and trained coaching team will help the WalkFIT 1 team adopt a regular fitness walking routine and assist you along the way. You will be encouraged and prepared to fitness walk a 5K at the completion of the training program. Participants must be able to walk .75 miles at a 20 minute/mile pace (approximately 15 minutes) and be prepared to increase time and distance weekly. Participants with significant medical concerns should check these criteria with a physician before starting the program.
