2018 Spring 10K 'A'

This spring we are offering two different 10K programs:

10K-A: The 'A' program is designed to push participants to their personal best pace.  This program will be coached by competitive runner and employee, Adam Jones.  Participants should be already running an average pace of 10 minutes/mile.  Through speed work, tempo work, and track workouts, you will be pushed hard to work on your pace to achieve a new PR. This program is designed for more competitive runners. 

10K-B: The 'B' program is designed for runners of varying speeds to train to successfully complete a 10K.  The training plan will prepare participants to work on their endurance and pace in a group setting.  This program will be coached by our new Director of Training Programs, Stacy Tollie, and long-time customer, Ironman triathlete, and Fleet Feet coach and ambassador, Jenn Feltis.

Both groups will train for the Asheville 10K on Saturday, June 9th. The training plans for the A vs. B groups will be very different and geared toward participants with two different goals.

Informational Meeting: Wednesday, April 11th at 7PM at Fleet Feet Sports

Kick Off Meeting: Tuesday, April 17th at 7PM at Fleet Feet Sports

First Group Workout: Saturday, April 21st, 7AM

Coached Workouts: Tuesdays at 6:15PM and Saturdays at 7AM starting Saturday, April 21st 

Race Date: Asheville 10K, Saturday, June 9th, 2018

Cost: $100 (does not include race registration)
