Winter 2018  Half Marathon Training Group

The Half Marathon Training is a 12 week program, which meets twice weekly for our group runs with the option of a third day (based on availability) strength component. The weekly runs consist of hill, track and long run workouts, while our partnership with AXIS Fitness has proven to be an awesome addition to add the necessary strength & conditioning to our training. This optional (but strongly recommended) addition goes for 10 weeks, and when combine with Fleet Feet's training and is designed to prepare runners for a well prepared & successful full marathon. Whether your a seasoned veteran is looking to meet a new PR or a this is your first endurance event, our program will help you achieve your goal. Through educating you on the principles of endurance training , hydration, nutrition techniques, body awareness, pacing and running autonomy Fleet Feet will take you the distance!
