Laura Tarry is a fully trained Stott Pilates instructor with a background in Kinesiology. Her classes focus on alignment, posture and stability. Through Pilates joints are taken through a comfortable range of motion gaining strength while encouraging extra flexibility and release of tightness. The basic principles can be taken into many different forms of exercise, which is why Pilates is so versatile and can fit everyone’s needs. Pilates is a fantastic cross training exercise for runners and cyclists as it increases strength, stability and flexibility. Laura will also add a Stretch component to the original Pilates class making it even more essential for runners and cyclists.  These one hour classes will meet on Thursday evenings at 7:15 PM from August 10th through September 28th.   A free 30 minute trial class and informational meeting will be held on Thursday, July 27thth at 7:15 PM.
