The Official California International Marathon Training Program!

The Sacramento Running Association (SRA) and Fleet Feet Sports have partnered to bring you a California International Marathon (CIM) training experience like no other!  The Official CIM Training program has everything –experienced coaches, ability-based training schedules and marathon specific seminars along with a private bus to the starting line and private VIP tent at the start. 

While this marathon training is filled with perks, at its core it is about building a community of people who share a passion and who want to work together to reach their goals. This program is about encouraging and motivating one another to do your best.  Whether you are looking to simply finish, improve on a previous time or race to perform, this program will leave you a better, faster and smarter runner.

The Official California International Marathon Training Program
Schedule: 
-Wednesday- Speed Workout- 6:15pm
-Saturday Long Distance- 7:30am (length dependent on distance/pace)
-Optional Add-On: Monday Night 6:00pm Speed Work on the track

Registration Fee: $199.00
Length: 17 weeks
Locations: Locations will be determined each week by your coaches and emailed to you before each workout

Kickoff and Informational Seminar: Saturday August 5th, 7:30am @ Fleet Feet. Come learn everything you need to know about the program. Registration not required. 
First group workout: Wednesday Aug 8th @ 6:15PM

Suggested Activity Level Prior to Start of Training
- We welcome marathoners of all levels but also want to ensure your success and completion of the training and race. 
- Workout mileage starts from 7-10 miles
- We recommend being able to run/walk or run at least 7 miles or roughly 70-90 minutes continuously prior to the start of training.
- We also recommend at least 6 months of consistent training, for a minimum of 4 days a week prior to the start of training. 
- Please be aware-The California International Marathon has a cutoff time of 6 1/2 hours or roughly 13.5 min/mile pace.
 

Registration Details 
- Registration Fee: $199.00
- Monday Night "Speed Work" (add-on class) Fee: $50.00 Discount code provided at Kickoff
- No refunds after the first workout. No exchanges or transfers at any time.
- Training fee does not include any race entry fee.
- Please note, due to liability and safety concerns, we can not allow dogs or strollers at Fleet Feet Training workouts.
