Half & Full Marathon Training Program

You can do 26.2 or 13.1! This 12-week program designed to prepare runners for a fall half or full marathon. *Note: Athletes targeting the full marathon should have a solid foundation with a long run of of ~2 hours by the start of this class. Half marathoners are encouraged to have run a 10k prior to the start of class.

Class will meet on Wednesdays at 5:30 for a weekly coached workout (up to 1.5 hours). Participants are encouraged to join the Saturday morning group run with the Fleet Feet Run Club for camaraderie for long runs.

There will be 4 course preview/long runs during the course of this class.

Each participant will receive an organized training calendar, individualized coaching, and be able to train with other runners with similar goals!

The coaches for this class are David Dowling and Tanya Holbrook. David has been involved in running for 35 years and has run all distances from a 5K to the full marathon! He has been coaching for the past 20 years, and is very excited to coach Fleet Feet's Half & Full Marathon Program for the first time! Tanya Holbrook is an avid runner who has been a member of the Fleet Feet community for years! For the first time, she is joining us as a coach! Tanya has completed countless marathons in her life, and most recently completed her first 100 miler!

Class meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm from July 12th to September 27th. The target race for this class is the Maine Marathon and Half Marathon, but the training plan can be altered to any fall half for full marathon! The cost of this class is $125
