WalkFit Beginner Program

  Do you want to improve your health and fitness?  Did you know that WALKING is a great exercise?  Trying to lose weight?  Are you tiring easily and not able to exercise more than 10 minutes at a time?  Have you considered walking in community events?  Through a detailed, theme-focused training program, WalkFIT will teach you critical fitness walking which will increase your daily stamina, improve your aerobic endurance, and prepare you to fitness walk in 5Ks and other community events.  This is San Antonio’s ONLY fitness walking class personally led by a certified and experienced fitness walking coach.  WalkFIT is an ideal program to get fit, make friends, and have fun at walking locations throughout San Antonio.  Come join the WalkFIT family!         Goal Races:  Fit Pass Dash 5K, SARR Women’s 5K, Fit Pass Finale 5K

WalkFit Experiened Program

The advanced program is for walkers who have participated in 5K and looking to improve their fitness walking performance, or for those looking to compete longer distances up to the Half Marathon.  WalkFIT Experienced is the ideal program to take you to the next level.  Building on unique fitness walking tips covered in the WalkFIT Beginner program, the WalkFIT Experienced program goes further in endurance development, strength and pace training, and unique racing tips.  This is San Antonio’s ONLY elite fitness walking class personally led by a certified and experienced Racewalking coach.  WalkFIT Experienced will best prepare you for excellence in 5Ks and beyond. Come join WalkFIT!

Goal Races:  Fit Pass 5Ks, SARR Women’s 5K, Scallywompus races, future competitions

 

WalkFit Beginner or Experienced:  $50

Program Start/End:  June 3-August 19, 2017

Program Schedule:  Mondays & Wednesdays at 7pm, and Saturdays at 7am (various city locations)
