Half Marathon Training - Speed - SPRING 2017

For the half marathon veteran who is looking to improve their race times or reach a new PR, our Half Marathon Training - Speed group is the place to train for the FAXON LAW FAIRFIELD HALF MARATHON on June 25, 2017, or any other summer half marathon! If you are currently running at a 9:30min/mile pace or faster and want to cross the finish line with a new Personal Best in 2017 the Fleet Feet Sports Half Marathon SPEED Training Group is the place for you! The Fleet Feet Sports team features expert coaching, experienced pacers and mentors, coached workouts, and dedicated long run course support. In addition, our training offers information clinics on such topics as nutrition, hydration, gear, injury prevention, and proper stretching techniques to answer all of your training and racing questions. NOTE: To participate in the SPEED training program, you should be comfortable running 5 miles at a 9:30 min/mile pace or faster.

DETAILS:

  • GOAL RACE: Faxon Law Fairfield Half Marathon on June 25, 2017
  • Informational Sessions: Thursday, March 30th at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 1st at 10:00 a.m. 
  • Coached Training Runs: Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. AND Saturdays at 8:00 a.m.
