Fleet Feet Sports is partnering with the best names in fitness in Winston-Salem to bring you a series of 4-week programs.  Each program will have a different focus with the goal to introduce you to a new fitness skill.  Our mission is to help you learn and enjoy a variety of activities that can help you with your running and walking.  Even more importantly we want to help you to be your best self!

Stronger = Faster with CrossFit Amplitude

This May we are bringing back our popular Stronger = Faster program with CrossFit Amplitude!  As runners we LOVE to log miles, but often neglect strength work.  This is a chance to learn how strength training will make you less vulnerable to injury AND faster!

CrossFit Amplitude has been training athletes in Winston-Salem since 2008.  Trainers are skilled in working with individuals of all ages and athletic abilities.  The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.  Participants will be learning strength movements and techniques that are used to train athletes of all types in a safe and structured environment under the guidance of experienced coaches. 

The aim of CrossFit has been to build a program that would best prepare trainees for any physical contingency—prepare them not only for the unknown but for the unknowable.

  • Who:  Anyone working to build strength while learning proper form and technique.  These trainers have the knowledge and experience to coach you as an individual, while you enjoy participating in a group class.
  • When:  Thursdays from 6:00PM-6:45PM in May (starting May 4th)
  • Where:  Fleet Feet Sports Parking Lot & Patio (bring a yoga mat/towel with you)
  • Cost:  $30 per person for the 1x/week 4-week class.
