2017 Shamrock 15K & Half Marathon Training

The adidas Shamrock Run Portland is one of the most popular events in the Portland area. The winter months make it tough to get out there and run your own. Fleet Feet Sports PDX is providing a training program and team to help you prepare for either the 15K or the Half Marathon. Our coaches are all RRCA Certified and highly experienced runners. We have plenty of information, guidance, and support we want to provide, and we want to make your training process a fun experience!

Join our team and receive:

  • Daily training plan for the 10-week program leading up to the adidas Shamrock Half Marathon or 15K on Sunday, March 19th
  • Two coached workouts per week
  • Experienced and engaging coaches and mentors to support you along the way
  • Weekly seminars, every Saturday morning

Meet and Greet Kick-Off:

Join us on Saturday, January 7 at 8am. Meet the coaches, get information about the program, and update your gear so you're ready to start your training. Bring a friend, and be prepared to get inspired! We will do a workout so you can see what a our program is all about!

Program Start Date: Wednesday, January 11

Meeting times:

  • Wednesdays 6:30pm, TBA
  • Saturdays 8am, Fleet Feet Sports PDX Portland store

Requirements: You must be able to comfortably run 5-6 miles and be prepared to run 4-5 days a week upon entering the program. If you have a medical condition that may be affected by exercise, or you have an injury going into the program, you should get clearance from your doctor before starting this program. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this program.

Coaches: Bill Hood, Allison Torpey, and Susan Zepernick (all are RRCA Certified)

Registration fee: Registration is $99.

The Training Program registration fee does not include race entry fee.
