10K & Half Marathon Training Group Spring 2017

The Fleet Feet Sports 10K & Half Marathon Training Program is a 12 week program designed to prepare runners for their first ever endurance event, or to help seasoned runners meet a new performance goal. This program educates participants on endurance training principles, hydration and nutrition techniques, pacing, proper running form, and more. Cost is $85 per participant for the half marathon program and $80 for the 10K program.

Both programs meet twice a week on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. The workouts will last about an hour to an hour and a half as we increase mileage throughout the program. In addition to the workouts, participants get access to educational clinics, motivational speakers, newsletters keeping you up to date, and expert coaching/mentoring to help inspire and motivate you on this training journey.

The training program is geared for the Run for Hope 10K on Sunday, March 26 in Bloomington and the half program for the Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon on Saturday, April 1.
