NoBo I & NoBo II 5K Training Fall 2016

Beginning in September, Fleet Feet Bloomington will offer two concurrent 5K programs: a beginner No Boundaries program and a No Boundaries II program to help people achieve a better 5K time. Both programs will be 10 weeks to get you ready for the Jingle Bell Run 5K on Sunday, November 13.

When: Weekly training runs will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and at 8 a.m. on Saturdays starting Tuesday, September 6th. Meeting places vary, but are always in Bloomington/Normal.

Where: On Tuesdays the group typically meets at Rollingbrook Park in Bloomington. Saturday meeting places vary and you will receive a training calendar at the beginning of the program that denotes where and when we meet.

About the No Boundaries Beginner 5K Program
No Boundaries is a beginner 5K (3.1 miles) training program designed for people who are currently inactive or new to running and walking. While No Boundaries focuses on beginners, all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line in just 10 weeks! Along the way we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you!

About NoBo II
No Boundaries II is a follow up program to No Boundaries. Participants will train to cross the finish line of a 5K faster than a previous attempt and will increase their knowledge (and love!) of running. Mileage will be longer than the race distance and we will introduce speed work as well as interval training. This program is designed for graduates of No Boundaries and those who can already run three miles without stopping, or with limited walk breaks. Please note: you do not have to be a No Boundaries graduate to join No Boundaries II.

As part of the No Boundaries & NoBoII program, participants will receive the following:

**A 10-week training program and calendar with workouts provided

**Twice-weekly coach-guided training sessions

**Mentor-led runs twice a week

**Access to coaches via email during the week

**No Boundaries technical t-shirt

**2 Gear-Up Weeks for participants only with special discounts

**Weekly newsletter with educational information and that week's workout information

**Educational clinics on proper footwear, injury prevention, nutrition, and more

**Dedicated support from coaches and mentors to answer individual questions as well as to keep you accountable to the program and to yourself

**The camaraderie of others with the same goal!
