Summer Speed Series

  • Have you always wanted to run faster, but have trouble figuring out how to get there on your own?
  • Do your Half and Full Marathon goals need a burst of speed at shorter distances to make space for new Personal Bests in 2016 and 2017?
  • Do you dread summer training and racing, but want to see if you can overcome those Dog Days of Summer?
  • Do you know, somewhere deep inside, that a faster 5K is still in your legs?

Join us for our Summer Speed Series Training! We'll help you tackle your summer races while giving you expert and holistic coaching. This is a perfect program for anyone looking to gain speed and endurance for any distance. 

Program Logistics:

  • Program runs May 2nd through July 4th
  • Monday evenings at 7:00 pm at the UNC Track*
  • Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm at the Duke University Track*
  • Weekly consultation and advice on Setting Goals, Weekly Mileage, Long Runs, Hydration, Managing Hot Weather Training and Racing.
  • Consultation from Physical Therapists and Personal Trainers at various workouts. 
  • Race an amazing event as part of a Fleet Feet Team:
    • Four on the Fourth in Carrboro (July 4th, 2016)
    • We will also be able to advise on alternative races to test your speed.
  • Cost: $175 for 10 weeks - price will include Four on the Fourth Race Entry!

Our coaches will be available for consultation during both speed workouts, as well as in-store and via email during other times of the week! This is your opportunity to be coached and train at a higher level in order to achieve new Personal Bests in the 2016 and 2017 seasons. We will also encourage community and support for Summer racing by tackling the Four on the Forth race in Carrboro, NC.
