2016 Spring Breaking Boundaries 10k Training

Dates: January 20th - April 8th; every Wednesday 7PM and Saturday 7AM

We believe running is for everybody, so even if you have never run before and have never imagined running or walking in your future, this is the program for you. The No Boundaries and Breaking Boundaries series of training programs is designed to help people who are currently inactive get moving, and help those that have started, build on the goals they have already achieved. You will train with, and be supported by, a group of people that are in your position and striving for the same goals. The program has 4 training days a week, with two of those being fully supported sessions starting at the store. You will also have mentors providing motivation and guidance along the way to maximize your potential.  

The 10K Program is perfect for:

  • No Boundaries 5K graduates looking to build distance to a 10K or half-marathon
  • Any runner who can comfortably run 1.5 miles with little or no stopping
  • Participants looking to improve speed and distance to the 10K level
  • This group starts with a 4 minute run/2 minute walk interval for 3 miles

The goal race for this training is the Carnival of Venice half-marathon relay or any spring/fall 10k.
