BostonNOW - Fleet Feet Carrboro & Durham

Fleet Feet Carrboro & Durham are partnering with adidas to bring you a training program and VIP experience for those who have qualified for the 2016 Boston Marathon!

This is a coached, 12 week program designed to:

· Help you physically and mentally prepare to qualify for the Boston Marathon

· Provide you with the training knowledge to become faster and stronger

· Build community and camaraderie to all participants who are looking to push their Marathon and Half Marathon training to the next level

Program Benefits:

· Weekly 12 – week training program lead by an expert coach

· Monday Evening Speed workout at UNC Track

· Thursday morning Tempo from various locations in Chapel Hill/Durham

· Fully Supported (key drop, Nuun, and water all provided) Saturday Morning Long Runs from Fleet Feet Sports Carrboro and Durham with the Half and Full Marathon Training Program

· Emphasis on Strength/Hill Training to help make you a stronger runner on a hilly or flat course

· Boston365 Team Tech Shirt

· Weekly Email Newsletter with workouts, training tips, and special offers

· On-site physical therapists through partnerships with Proaxis Therapy in Carrboro and Athletic Advantage in Durham

· Assistance in selecting the right event for you to become a Boston Qualifier

· Post Program Celebration!

Part of the VIP Package for the Boston Now Participants are as follows:

• VIP bus on race day

• VIP lounge access post-race and throughout the weekend

• VIP party on Friday

• Invitation to attend Competitor Group/adidas event Saturday evening

• VIP Lounge post –race: food, drinks, and massages.

• B365 tech tee

Program Schedule:

· Monday Evenings 6 pm – UNC Track – Speed Workout

· Thursday Mornings 6:30 am – Fleet Feet Durham (or other location TBD) – Tempo Workout

· Saturday Mornings 7 am – Fleet Feet Durham or Carrboro (Location always announced in weekly newsletter) – Long Run - optional to do with the group/can do on your own

Participants must be able to maintain a training pace of 11:00 min/mile or less, run at least one half marathon before joining this program, and be comfortable running at least 6-8 (Half) or 8-10 (Full) miles on their own.
